TapMask Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 19, 2026

Summary

TapMask processes images entirely on your device. We do not upload your images, detected text, or editing activity to our servers.

Data collection

TapMask does not collect personal information, analytics, advertising identifiers, diagnostics, or usage history. TapMask does not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.

Photos and camera

Photos selected by you and photos taken with the camera are used only to provide image masking and export features. Image recognition and editing happen locally on your device.

Storage and deletion

Files used during editing are temporary and are deleted when the editing session ends. Images received through the TapMask Share extension are stored in TapMask’s private app-group container, deleted after import, and automatically deleted after seven days if never imported. Exported files are saved only to destinations you choose.

Network access and purchases

Image processing does not use the network. TapMask communicates with Apple’s App Store services only when you view, purchase, verify, or restore the optional TapMask Pro in-app purchase. Apple processes those transactions under Apple’s own privacy policy.

Tracking and sharing

TapMask does not track you and does not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties.

Children

Because TapMask does not collect personal data, it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated policy and effective date will be published on this page.
